Celebrate Heritage Week’s Wild Child Day at the Hill of Uisneach with Hedgerows Ireland and Westmeath County Council. During this event, we will introduce native hedgerows and their importance, we will guide the children through fun hedgerow activities including a scavenger hunt, sound mapping, and leaf rubbing.
When? Saturday 24th August from 10-11.30 am.
Where? Meet at the Hill of Uisneach, Rathnew, Loughnavalley, Co. Westmeath, N91 R6C9.
The walk will largely be on paths but there may be some uneven grassy terrain, so comfortable shoes and clothes are advised.
